Ronald (Ron) E. Kasabian is vice president in the Data Center Group and general manager of big data solutions at Intel Corporation. He has overall responsibility for Intel’s strategy and plans in the big data arena, spanning hardware platforms, software solutions, services, strategic business partnerships and paths to market. Before assuming his current role in 2012, he served as general manager of enterprise solutions and programs in Intel’s information technology organization. A member of the chief information officer’s staff, he was responsible for the delivery of cross-enterprise applications for finance, human resources, enterprise data warehousing, and advanced analytics. Kasabian has a bachelor’s degree in business with an emphasis on quantitative analysis and decision science from California State University, Fresno.
Alan is responsible for developing and executing Cloudera’s marketing and communications strategy to support continued business growth and brand awareness. Alan joins Cloudera from Riverbed Technology, a 1,400-employee public company that develops high performance IT infrastructure solutions, where he served as Vice President of Product Marketing. With over 22 years of experience, he has held a variety of leadership roles in marketing, finance and operations at eight companies. Alan holds a B.Sc. in mechanical engineering from University of California, Berkeley, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
